The Mino handmade washi paper, crumpled and textured, is given a white finish with gofun (a pigment made from shell powder used in Japanese painting). It resembles a snow-covered mountain.
At first glance, it appears to be plain white washi paper, but the unevenly dyed gofun provides a beautiful accent.

The transparency created by the oil-treated washi paper is stunning.
With age, the washi paper will turn an amber color.

The light blue of the eaves paper adds a sense of coolness.

This Japanese umbrella is stylish for anyone, regardless of gender or age.

The framework of a Japanese umbrella is made from a piece of bamboo that is split evenly and assembled so that when the umbrella is folded, it returns to its original shape.

The moment you open it, the colors of the Japanese paper and the delicate threads create a beautiful shadow that surrounds the person holding it.
All of these are the only Japanese umbrellas in the world, created through the painstaking work of craftsmen.
