This gem combines an original dyed Japanese paper named “Kasumi Dye” with Japanese paper that has become even more austere and darker in color through several layers of uneven dyeing with persimmon tannin undiluted solution and iron mordant dyeing.

The blue and brown tones of the kasumizome dye add to the austerity of the persimmon tannin.
The kasumi-dyed washi is Mino handmade washi made from 100% Mino kozo (paper mulberry), so the fibers are long and very strong.

The persimmon tannin-dyed paper is made from Mino handmade washi by Koso-gami Studio.
Kakishibu-dyed paper has a tendency to darken and change in color, allowing the wearer to enjoy the changes that occur over time. This is only possible if the item is to be used for a long time.
Since the Japanese paper is wrinkled by rubbing, the expression of the Japanese paper is also very tasteful.
It is a Japanese umbrella that can be used stylishly by men, women, and people of any age.

All Gifu Japanese umbrellas are carefully made one by one by the hands of craftsmen.

It takes over two months to make one Japanese umbrella.

Japanese umbrellas, which are said to be ``open as flowers, closed as bamboo'', are traditional Japanese crafts that are filled with the skill of craftsmen and attention to detail.

Each Japanese umbrella is created through numerous production processes that last over two months.

The thoughtfulness of craftsmen and traditional techniques create delicate beauty.

The framework of a Japanese umbrella is made from a piece of bamboo that is split evenly and assembled so that when the umbrella is folded, it returns to its original shape.

The moment you open it, the colors of the Japanese paper and the delicate threads create a beautiful shadow that surrounds the person holding it.
All of these are the only Japanese umbrellas in the world, created through the painstaking work of craftsmen.
