The shades of indigo dyeing are beautiful. The ultimate Nagara River basin product.
A special collaboration Japanese umbrella created in 2023 using Mino handmade washi paper dyed with indigo grown in Ishitehaku, Gifu.
One of the six Janome umbrellas available this season.

There is an Okinawan textile called Yaeyama Minsa, which has alternating four and five square Kasuri patterns. It seems that the idea of ``lasting happiness for all (five) and four (4) lifetimes'' is included.
The square pattern, which is reminiscent of the woven pattern, makes you want to make a wish.
The dark blue ring of washi paper tightens the look.
The soft beige thread gives a gentle impression.

The potter's wheel is finished with real lacquer by Nagaya, the only potter's wheel craftsman.
The more you use it, the more flavorful it becomes.
The handle is made of high-quality female bamboo, and is characterized by its smooth feel and lightness.

The framework of a Japanese umbrella is made from a piece of bamboo that is split evenly and assembled so that when the umbrella is folded, it returns to its original shape.

The moment you open it, the colors of the Japanese paper and the delicate threads create a beautiful shadow that surrounds the person holding it.
All of these are the only Japanese umbrellas in the world, created through the painstaking work of craftsmen.
