A special collaboration Japanese umbrella created in 2023 using Mino handmade washi paper dyed with indigo grown in Ishitehaku, Gifu.
One of the six Janome umbrellas available this season.

The mid-bari fabric is eye-catching, with a ring of light in the dyed pattern that seems to represent bright, shining light.
It's interesting how you can understand the pattern differently depending on how you look at it.
The bright blue thread is also refreshing.

The potter's wheel is finished with real lacquer by Nagaya, the only potter's wheel craftsman.
The more you use it, the more flavorful it becomes.
The handle is made of high-quality female bamboo, and is characterized by its smooth feel and lightness.

The framework of a Japanese umbrella is made from a piece of bamboo that is split evenly and assembled so that when the umbrella is folded, it returns to its original shape.

The moment you open it, the colors of the Japanese paper and the delicate threads create a beautiful shadow that surrounds the person holding it.
All of these are the only Japanese umbrellas in the world, created through the painstaking work of craftsmen.
