This cherry blossom umbrella was originally made in January 2019 as a gift for Emily Blunt, star of the film "Mary Poppins," but it has now been remade as an original with different colors.
The cherry blossom shape requires a great deal of skill and effort to create, and is a one-of-a-kind Japanese umbrella made with Mino handmade washi paper, inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms, and made with the utmost luxury.

The paper is double-layered, and the front side is switched between three colors: pink, light pink, and openwork paper (hemp leaf and shippo). The gradation on the inside is also expressive with light and dark, giving the petals a sense of depth.
And, look at the petals fluttering about! This is the first time we've tried this, and it's impressive how much effort went into making the petals look different when viewed from the outside and when viewed from the inside shining light through them.
The stitching is done using glossy moss green silk thread.
The texture of the washi paper shining through the sunlight and the transparent pink gradation are breathtakingly beautiful.
You can enjoy the delicate expression of cherry blossoms in various ways depending on the angle from which you view them.

Even when closed, it has the distinctive shape that is unique to cherry blossoms.
The bones are also painted with a gradation from white to pink.
No matter where you look, you will be captivated and never get bored.

This item can be used for a long time as an item to add flowers (cherry blossoms) to important commemorations such as weddings, the Shichi-Go-San ceremony when a child is born, school entrance ceremonies, coming-of-age ceremonies, etc.
