Janome Umbrella [Tsukiyakko Black x Kakishibu Iron] (Bamboo Pattern)

The black Japanese paper has a beautiful deep hue that looks like indigo ink brown when seen through the light.
The persimmon tannin-dyed washi is made from Mino handmade washi. Iron mordant dyeing is applied to create an uneven, dark color.
The combination of persimmon tannin-dyed Japanese paper and black Japanese paper makes this austere and chic Japanese umbrella.
