It's small, but the construction, materials, and craftsmanship are exactly the same as the real thing!
Uses Mino handmade Japanese paper dyed with indigo of Gujo Honzome. "Gujo Honzome" is also designated as an intangible cultural property of Gujo City.

When you think of ayu, you think of the cormorant fishing that takes place every year from May 11th to October 15th in the clear Nagara River that flows through the center of Gifu City.
The indigo-dyed Japanese paper is likened to a deep, clear river, and sweetfish swimming comfortably in the river are depicted on small Japanese umbrellas.
The stitching is a pale pale blue and gives a soft impression.

Anyway, this size is cute.
Just like the parasol, the Japanese paper is not oiled, so please be careful not to get it wet.
It opens and closes, so it will be delivered in a closed state.

◆Mino handmade paper: Takeshi Kano, Koso Washi Kobo ◆Indigo dyeing: Kazuyoshi Watanabe, Gujo Honzome Watanabe Senmonoten ◆Hand and potter's wheel: Kazuo Nagaya, Nagaya Mokkojo ◆Umbrella production: Miki Tanaka, Takahashi Japanese umbrella
